Co-Chair - Marketing & Operations
Sonia is a second-year MBA student at Wharton. She currently serves as the Co-chair for the PE/VC Conference, the Head of Career Treks for the PE/VC Club, the Co-President for the Badminton Club and a Student Life Fellow. She is actively involved with the ESG Initiative at Wharton and has been awarded the opportunity to work on two Impact Investing stints with TIAA Nuveen and The World Wildlife Impact Fund respectively.
Last summer, she worked as a Senior Associate in the Private Equity Investment Team at Coller Capital in New York. Prior to Wharton, she was a Senior Associate at BCG, India where she worked primarily on financial services, digital transformation and future mobility projects.
Sonia is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has completed all three levels of the CFA Program from the CFA Institute, USA. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mumbai with a Master’s in Commerce and Accounting. She is currently pursuing a triple major in Finance, Management, and Entrepreneurship and is part of the Director’s list at Wharton.
