Max is a Founding Partner at Metronomic Associates LLC, a newly formed investment management firm based in New York. He embarked on this new venture in January, joining from Oaktree Capital Management, where he was an investment professional in the firm’s flagship Global Opportunities strategy. Prior to Oaktree, Max was an investment banker with Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group in New York. During his Wharton years, Max worked at Julian Robertson’s Tiger Management.
Max received his BS in Economics summa cum laude with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. He serves as a Member of the Advancement Committee of the University of Toronto Schools Board of Directors and as a Member of the Board of Directors of the University of Toronto Schools Alumni Association.
